Healthy Workplace Month

Penticton celebrated national Healthy Workplace Month in October 2008 and is encouraging as many businesses and organizations to participate. To join the Penticton Workplace Wellness Network and gain more information about this month, please email workplacewellness@getactivepenticton.com.
Penticton Workplace Wellness Network
A Penticton Workplace Wellness Network has been created with participation from over 60 organizations and businesses and includes: Newsletters, Success Stories & Champions - what local organizations and individuals are doing to keep employees healthy, Invitations to workshops, events and speakers, Ideas & Tips for a healthy workplace for bulletin board displays. The GetActive! Penticton Workplace Wellness Coordinator provides assistance to businesses interested in initiating a program, acts as a communicator to share information, and provides support for workplace-wellness initiatives for employers and employees.
