Action Schools! BC
Action Schools! BC is a best practices model designed to assist schools in creating individualized action plans to promote healthy living. The initiative coordinates action by all members of the school community to increase physical activity opportunities throughout the school day - enhancing physical education, activating classrooms, and promoting healthy choices before and after school, and during lunch and recess.

Active Healthy Kids
Active Healthy Kids Canada was established to advocate the importance of quality, accessible, and enjoyable physical activity participation experiences for children and youth. As a national leader in this area, Active Healthy Kids Canada provides expertise and direction in order to increase the attention given to, investment in, and effective implementation of physical activity opportunities for all Canadian children and youth.

Everybody gets to play™
This program is focused on ensuring that economically disadvantaged children and families have access to quality leisure experiences. The Tool Kit provides ideas on how to make recreation services more inclusive and a BC supplement has been created. Workshops are now available to help mobilize communities for action. KidSport™ is the charitable arm of Sport BC that raises money for underprivileged children who cannot afford sport registration fees. Learn more about KidSport™ and how you can start a KidSport™ Chapter in your community.

On the Move – CAAWS
On the Move is a national initiative designed to increase opportunities for inactive girls and young women (ages 9-18) to participate and lead in sport and physical activity.

Sprockids
The Canadian Cycling Association's Sprockids National Introduction to Cycling Program offers young people the opportunity to develop the skills, values and strategies that will guide them throughout their lives and enable them to reach their full potential.
